Meet the Staff

Hello, my name is Jenny; I am the Director of Christ Lutheran Children's Center. I have a long history of working with children, developing curriculums and child development (not to mention raising two of my own children). I hold a Child Development Associate Credential in both Center Preschool and Infant Toddler and a long resume of early childhood development coursework. I also bring to Christ Lutheran a strong background in technology; I create and maintain our Center's web site, provide photographic and video services, as well as develop and create the electronic forms. Welcome to Christ Lutheran Children's Center!

Hi, my name is Ms. Raquel. I am a native to the Las Vegas/Henderson area, but have also lived in a several other countries and states working on my BFA. I am a proud parent of a baby girl; she's my little gift from God. I am very excited to be working at Christ Lutheran Children's Center. The school is blessed with wonderful children and amazing teachers that make everyday a rewarding experience. I look forward to helping your children grow and learn and I am excited to have the opportunity to make a difference in each child's life and give them learning experiences that will stay with them always.

My name is Mrs. Jennifer, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Development, from Cal-State Fullerton. My focus is to help build each child's independence, as well as promote his/her academic ability. I will provide a positive school experience for each child, and set a motivational, fair, and fun foundation for learning. I look forward to growing with the CLCC family, and watch each little angel grow into little scholars.

Hello! My name is Jennie and I get the special opportunity to work with the youngest children in the Center. My family and I moved to Las Vegas in August of 2005 from Southern California. I have a degree in early childhood education from California State University of Fullerton. While attending school, in 1996, I started my career with children and have continued to work with youth in a supervisor role. I love being able to help children grow physically, mentally and emotionally. I also have three wonderful children of my own and a loving husband that supports me in everything that I do. I am truly blessed that the Lord has brought me to teach at Christ Lutheran Children's Center and am excited to meet all the babies and families that are brought to our Center.

Hello, my name is Justin Fitzpatrick. I am very happy and excited to be at Christ Lutheran Children's Center. I have extensive experience in working with young children including the Verdugo Hills YMCA in California in both the preschool and school age (kindergarten-8th grade) classrooms for five years. Being around young children is second nature to me. I am looking forward to years to come at Christ Lutheran Children's Center.

Hi! My name is Renisha McCray. I have taken many Child Development courses and have many years of experience working with children. I believe in positive reinforcement and positive self-esteem. Kids want to learn, grow and experience life, that is why I believe in hands-on activities. I feel very blessed to be a part of Christ Lutheran Children's Center and I am excited to be working with all of the amazing kids here.

Hi, my name is Stevie Gloeckner. I was born and raised in a small town in Nevada called Caliente. I went to Lincoln County High School. After graduation I moved to Las Vegas to attend the college. I come from a huge family, so I have always been around children. It has always been my dream to have the opportunity to work with children. Each day, it brings me enjoyment to do what I love .

Hi, my name is Wanda Hernandez, I am married, I have six children, and thirteen grandchildren. I have ten years of work experience in the development and growth of children ages infant – twelve years. I also have many hours of training in child development. I look forward to coming to the Center each day and spending my time with these children. Working with young children is not just a job for me; it is my passion.

Hi! My name is Ms. Vicky. I am eager to be a part of Christ Lutheran Children's Center. I love to entertain and care for children. Watching children grow up and seeing how they develop is the best part of being a teacher. Christ Lutheran Children's Center has a great staff and wonderful students.

Hi. My name is Vireena Wheeler. I am very happy to be a part of Christ Lutheran Children's Center. I was born in Las Vegas, but I have also lived in Memphis, TN. I enjoy working with children, I am energetic, caring and playful, and it brings me pleasure to just make the kids smile.

Hi. My name is Miya Edmonson. I moved to Las Vegas three years ago after graduating from the University of Southern California. I have four years of experience in caring for and working with children. I look forward to coming to Christ Lutheran Children's Center everyday to be a part of the development of tomorrow's leaders.
